The St Nicholas charity concerts are one-hour recitals, now in their third season, which have been organised to raise funds for Blood Cancer UK, formerly known as Bloodwise.

The concerts are held in the historic and warm church of St Nicholas, Bishop’s Sutton, Hampshire, during the winter months on Saturday evenings at 6.00pm (doors open at 5.30pm).  The early timings are because it will be too dark for you to be gardening by then or even hovering on the touchline of the school football pitch – think of each recital as a musical aperitif before you go home or out to dinner, possibly to The Ship pub in Bishop’s Sutton or into Alresford and beyond.

Tickets are priced at £10.00 each, payable on the door.  They can be reserved by email at stnbconcerts@gmail.com – this is advisable in case you need to be alerted of any changes to the programme or Covid restrictions.  Gift Aid forms are available on the door for payments by cheque to Blood Cancer UK.

As the venue is a church, the wearing of masks is currently compulsory.

As the concerts are short and the church door is heavy and squeaky, it is wise to arrive by 5.45pm (or enter during applause) – many thanks.  There is only limited parking by the Church but you may use the village hall car park (situated on the main road).  Please do not park at The Ship unless you have reserved a table for dinner there afterwards.

The dates of the concerts in 2022 and details about the performers and programmes are listed on the next pages.
